What we collect

• Google account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use these only to identify you and save your trips.
• Trip details. The destinations, dates, travellers and preferences you enter, the itineraries we build, and your conversation with Vakiko.
• Place searches. Text you type into place pickers is sent to Google Places to suggest locations.

How we use it

We use your information to plan and check your trips, keep your saved trips and chat history available across devices, and operate and improve Vakiko. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies

We set a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your name. They are strictly necessary for the service and are removed when you sign out.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run Vakiko: Google (sign-in and place search), our hosting provider, and AI model providers that process your trip messages to generate itineraries. They may process data only to provide their service to us.

Google user data

Vakiko’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only basic profile information (name, email, picture) and nothing else from your Google account.

Retention and your choices

We keep your trips and account details until you ask us to delete them. Email us to access, correct or delete your data, or to close your account, and we will respond within 30 days. You can also remove Vakiko’s access from your Google Account settings at any time.

Security and children

Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to what the service needs. Vakiko is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for material changes we will notify signed-in users.
